VICTORIA FALLS ADVENTURE TOUR - 16 DAYS:

Motorycling through Zambia Arial photograph of Victoria Falls Heart beat of Africa

Visor View

Our Victoria Falls Adventure tour departs from Johannesburg and we head north-west for the Botswana border. Botswana is a country rich in diamonds and wildlife which are often encountered on the country's roads. We ride to Francis Town and then to Nata, where we will briefly visit the Makgadikgadi Pans before we head for the Zambian border and the town of Livingstone.

We spend two nights in Livingstone which allows us ample time to explore the majestic Victoria Falls at leisure. Livingstone is a bustling frontier town and offers several optional activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, micro light flights over the Falls and sunset cruises on the Zambezi river. We eventually head up stream and ride through rural Zambia to cross the Border with Namibia at Katima Mulilo. We journey through the magnificent Caprivi corridor to Rundu and then head for the coast and Swakopmund riding through Omaruru and past the Spitzkoppe mountains.

From the German colonial town of Swakopmund we head south for the Namib desert, riding beautiful, harsh, gravel roads all the way to Sesriem. From Sesriem we explore Sossusvlei, Dooievlei and the Sesriem Canyon before we ride to Helmeringhausen. No visit to Namibia is complete without a visit to the Fish River Canyon with its unparalleled beauty and vistas which will await us on arrival.

We cross the border with South Africa at Noordoewer and journey south through the Namaqualand. We arrive early in Cape Town to soak in the Mother City's charm . After approximately 5000km our tour come to a rewarding end after a ride around the Cape Peninsula, stop at Cape Point and a vist to the top of Table Mountain.
