THE SOUTH AFRICAN GRAND SPRINGBOK TOUR - 14 DAYS:

Scenes from South Africa Scenes from South Africa Scenes from South Africa

Visor View

Have you ever thought of exploring beautiful South Africa - North to South and the long way round ? Well, then this is the tour for you! Our Springbok Tour visits some of the most scenic destinations South Africa has on offer.

The tour departs from Johannesburg and we head due east towards the Lowveld town of Sabie and the Panorama Route with its natural wonders such as the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Burke's Luck potholes before we explore the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest.

At Hazyview, we have the opportunity to visit the world famous, Kruger National Park and enjoy a safari (optional) in search of the elusive Big 5 - lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo.

We ride through the Kingdom of Swaziland and into Kwa-Zulu Natal where we visit Lake St. Lucia. We pay a short visit to the Natal Battlefields and then head for the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. We briefly ride through the Freestate Province at Golden Gate and the continue onwards, around the Maluti Mountains, towards Great Karoo and the historic town of Graaff Reinet.

Next we throttle to Oudtshoorn, ostrich capital of the world, where we visit the Cango Caves and a working ostrich farm. We cruise to Cape Town along Route 62, but our journey will not be complete without spending a night at the southern most tip of the African continent, Cape L’Agulhas, also home to whales that frequent these waters to give birth and mate. On our final day in Cape Town, the Mother City, we will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain.

Dream it, feel it, taste it, ride it ! South Africa at it's best. Good roads, food, drink and accommodation to compliment the awesome landscapes you will experience. Altough we mostly travel on asphalt roads, depending on the mood and skills of the group, there is always an alternative gravel road to choose from.

This tour can also be adapted to include Lesotho, the Mountain Kingdom, the Cape Garden Route and many other worthwhile attractions. Contact us for more info and requests
