We specialize in both Adventure Motorcycle Tours, which mainly incorporates gravel travel and Open Road Tours for those with a preference to traveling on sealed road surfaces. Our motorcycle tours starts in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg.

Willem de Wet
A true adventurer at heart, Willem waved the corporate business world good-bye in 2007 and pursued the other passions in his life; family, dogs and motorcycling the great African continent. Upon returning from an extensive over landing journey through Africa, Willem and his family founded
Zimzala K9 Estate, “dog heaven on earth”. However, Willem's wanderlust soon took hold of him again and in 2008 he undertook a solo motorcycle journey from Cairo to Cape Town, bringing a life long dream to reality. Willem has now brought his passion for adventure motorcycling and business skills together in moto-africa.com.
Gavin Green
Having pursued a career for more than fifteen years in the corporate world, Gavin, also a keen parachutist and scuba diver, saw him turning his love for the open South Africa Karoo landscape and the Namib Desert plains with its ever inviting passes and gravel roads, into starting an exciting motorcycle travel company,
Swartberg Biking in 2004. On the back of his BMW motorcycle, he has guided various exhilarating and unforgettable motorcycle tours with clients and friends. Today, Gavin is registered National Tour Guide with specialist qualifications in the Swartberg, Klein - Karoo and Gamkaskloof (also known as “The Hell”) regions.
